Coronavirus | New case recorded in Jarabulus, and total number of infected people in north-western Syria rises to 47

Health authorities have recorded a new coronavirus case in the town of Jarabulus in northern Aleppo countryside, which is under the control of Turkish-backed factions.

One case has also recovered in the town of Akhtarin in Aleppo countryside.

This brings the number of infected people in areas held by Turkish-backed factions to 24.

According to Observatory statistics, the number of confirmed cases, since July 9 to date, rose to 47, including two doctors were residing in Turkey.

The cases are broken down by region as follows: 21 cases, including medical staff in Idlib and countryside, and 24 cases in the areas controlled by Turkish-backed factions, north of Aleppo.

This brings the total number of recovery cases to 32.
