Ras al-Ain countryside | Three members of Ankara-backed military police turn themselves in to SDF, amid reports that over 15 fighters of “National Army” are heading towards regime-controlled areas

Reliable sources have informed the Syrian Observatory that three members of the Turkish-backed military police forces turned themselves in to SDF after they managed to escape from the city of Ras al-Ain (Sari Kanier).

On the other hand, the Syrian Observatory has received information about the fact that more than 15 fighters of the “National Army” factions have left Ras al-Ain area during the past week, heading towards the regime-controlled areas in Abu Racin (Zarkan). Reports suggested that they were intelligence agents of regime forces operating in Ankara-backed factions.

Yesterday, SOHR sources said that villages in the “Peace Spring” areas in al-Hasakeh countryside have witnessed infighting between Turkish-backed factions, following a dispute over sharing stolen property from civilian homes in the areas of Ras al-Ain and Tal Tamer.

According to Observatory sources, the villages of Shalah and Diyabiya Rihania have witnessed clashes between the members of Sultan Murad and Ahrar al-Sharqiya, during the last 24 hours, as Sultan Murad sold the Ahrar al-Sharqiya’s share of the stolen goods. While some members are prepared to leave the areas of the “Peace Spring” and go to other areas.

The clashes resulted in injuries on both sides, some in serious conditions.
