Manbij countryside | Member of Manbij Military Council killed in clashes with Turkish-backed factions near frontlines

SOHR sources say that a member of the Manbij Military Council of SDF was killed this morning in violent clashes between Manbij Military Council forces and Turkish-backed factions, following an attempt to infiltrate by Turkish-backed factions into the positions of Manbij Military Council forces on one of the frontlines of the village of Al-Halonji on the frontlines in Manbij countryside, east of Aleppo.

On July 28, SOHR activists documented the killing of six civilians of the same family, including children, and the injury of more than six others, including children and women, in shelling with artillery and mortars by Turkish forces stationed in Al-Sheikh Naser village. The shelling hit civilian positions in and around Qert Wayran village, controlled by “Al-Bab Military Council” in the east of Manbij city in eastern Aleppo.

While Turkish reconnaissance drones were flying over the area.

On the other hand, SDF attacked gatherings of Turkish forces and proxy factions in north Aleppo countryside. No casualties were reported.
