GNA to build military airstrip in Tarhuna with help of mercenaries, reports say

“Al-Ain News” newspaper quoted sources as saying that movements of large numbers of militants were monitored near the landing site, in addition to the flow of equipment used on the ground to build roads towards the airstrip.

The same sources confirmed that GNA is working to establish a military airstrip to reinforce its operations in the area and expand its sites towards the southwest, especially in the cities of Tarhuna and Bani Walid.

Turkey is pushing thousands of mercenaries to Libya, specifically towards Tripoli, to put them in the battlefields in order to support the Government of National Accord, while the estimates of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights indicate that the number of mercenaries sent by Turkey to Libya has reached 10.000.
