Hours after targeting regime positions in rural Latakia | Regime forces shell villages in southern rural Idlib

The Syrian Observatory has monitored artillery shelling by regime forces this evening, targeting the villages of Rawiha and Benin in the southern Idlib countryside.

This comes hours after factions operating in Al-Sahil sector targeted regime forces’ gatherings on Rashu hill in Jabal al-Akrad, north of Latakia. No casualties have been reported so far.

Jihadist and opposition factions also targeted regime forces’ positions in the town of Kafranbel, south of Idlib, responding to regime shelling various villages and towns of Jabal al-Zawiya.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored this morning a rocket attack by regime forces, targeting the villages of Al-Fatira, Kansafra, Safohn, Kafr Aweid, Fleifel and other locations in Jabal al-Zawiya in southern Idlib countryside, accompanied by continuous flight of Russian reconnaissance drones over Idlib province in the area of “Putin-Erdogan”.
