Turkish-backed factions atrocities | “Al-Sham Corps” kills Yazidi civilian in Afrin’s Shirawa

The Turkish-backed factions have been still continuing their violations against the Kurds in Afrin, including murders, kidnappings and looting, since Turkish forces and their proxies invaded the canton under “Olive Branch” operation.

In this context, reliable sources have informed the Syrian Observatory that gunmen of “Al-Sham Corps” killed a Yazidi old man in Shuwaydarah village of Shirawa district in Afrin countryside, north-west of Aleppo.

According to SOHR sources, three members of “Al-Sham Corps” stormed the old man’s house yesterday evening, in which they shot him dead for refusing to give them a sum of money the corps imposed after he had sold his land.

It is worth noting that the Yazidi civilian was kidnapped previously by Turkish-backed factions, and he was released later after paying large sums of money.
