East of Aleppo | Turkish military base in Jarabulus shells town in Ain al-Arab countryside (Kobane)

SOHR sources say that Turkish forces stationed at Jarabulus base shelled this evening the town of Al-Shuyoukh in rural Ain al-Arab (Kobane), which is under the control of SDF, east of Aleppo. No casualties have been reported so far.

It is worth nothing that Turkish forces targeted yesterday with five rocket-propelled grenades the town of Al-Shuyoukh on the eastern bank of the Euphrates River in countryside of the city of Ain al-Arab (Kobane).

On June 24, the Syrian Observatory documented the killing of five people, including three women, one of whom is the coordinator of the “Star Women’s Conference” of the “Self-Administration”, as a Turkish drone targeted a house housing a meeting of a women’s conference, in the village of Halnaj near the border with Turkey, in rural Kobane, east of Aleppo.
