East of Deir ez-Zor | SDF targets regime forces’ positions on west bank of the Euphrates River

SOHR sources say that members of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) targeted today with machine guns from their positions on the eastern bank of the Euphrates River in the city of Al-Busayrah and the village of Abreeha in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, the positions of regime forces in the villages of Salou and Zabari on the west opposite bank of the river. No casualties have been reported.

Last night, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored an exchange of fire with medium weapons between SDF members stationed on the bank of the Euphrates River west of the town of Tayana, east of Deir ez-Zor, and regime forces stationed on the west bank of the river, but no casualties were reported.

SOHR sources said earlier that SDF members opened fire on ferries at the river crossing linking the SDF-held town of Al-Shuhayl to the regime-controlled town of Baqras in eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor.
