Regime’s old ordnance | Explosion seriously injures two children, east of Idlib city

SOHR activists say that an old ordnance left over from previous shelling exploded today in agricultural land in Binish town in Idlib countryside, seriously injuring two displaced children.

An increasing number of people killed recently by a landmine, unexploded bombs, and collapse of war-damaged residential buildings in various Syrian areas and cities such as Homs, Hama Deir Ezzor, Aleppo, and southern Syria.

The Syrian Observatory has documented since January 2019 to date some 329 fatalities, including 65 women and 99 children. Of the total number, the Syrian Observatory documented the deaths of 45 people, including 30 women and five children, in their search and collect for “Syrian wild truffles”, which put their lives at risk, “Syrian wild truffles” grow in areas that are exposed to heavy rains and are sold at high prices.
