After more than a week of tense calm | Clashes resume between Kurdish forces and Turkish-backed factions, north of Aleppo

Aleppo Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored this evening violent clashes between Kurdish forces and Turkish-backed factions, on the frontline of the town of Maranaz, Maryamin and Al-Malikia, north of Aleppo. No casualties have been reported.

This comes more than a week after a tense calm on the frontlines of northern Aleppo countryside.

On August 6, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored clashes with heavy and medium weapons between Turkish-backed “National Army” factions on one side, and regime and Kurdish forces on the other, on Tadif frontline in eastern Aleppo province, resulting in the killing of one Turkish-backed fighter and the injury of others.
