Deteriorating security in HTS-held areas | Unknown gunmen shoot dead Iraqi refugee in Salqin

Idlib Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Unknown gunmen shot dead an Iraqi refugee in Salqin city centre, while he was on his way to the mosque for Dawn prayer. According to local sources, the victim, a civilian with special needs, was displaced to Idlib countryside years ago, and he settled in Salqin city where he worked as spice dealer.

It is worth noting that HTS security services summoned the Iraqi refugee a few months earlier, during the increasing activities of ISIS cells in areas near the Turkey border.

Yesterday, SOHR activists documented A horrific murder in Salqin city in north-west of Idlib, as three people, including a woman, were killed following family disagreement.
