Eastern Aleppo province | Fierce clashes renew between Turkish-backed factions and Manbij Military Council forces

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored this evening violent clashes between Turkish-backed factions and the Manbij Military Council of SDF near the village of Um Adasseh and Al-Farat villages in rural Manbij in eastern Aleppo province, coinciding with artillery shelling by Turkish-backed factions in the village of Al-Yashelli, opposite the village of Um Adasseh. No casualties have been reported so far.

Yesterday, the Syrian Observatory monitored clashes with machine guns between the Turkish-backed “National Army” factions and SDF, near the Aoun al-Daat crossing area in eastern Aleppo, but no casualties were reported.

On 14 August, the Syrian Observatory monitored clashes between Turkish-backed factions and the Manbij Military Council on the Mahsanli frontline in Manbij countryside in north-eastern Aleppo, coinciding with exchange of fire with heavy machine guns and rocket-propelled grenades.
