“De-escalation zone” | Regime forces renew shelling towns and villages in Jabal Al-Zawiyah

Regime forces renewed shelling areas in the southern countryside of Idlib in the early hours of Monday morning, targeting places in Ain Larouz, Arnabeh, Al-Barah, Balyon, Sfuhen, Fulayfel, Al-Fterah and Kansafra in Jabal Al-Zawiyah.

 

Meanwhile, exchange of fire took place on Al-Haddadah frontlines in Jabal Al-Akrad in the northern countryside of Latakia, between opposition factions and jihadi groups on one hand, and regime forces on the other. No casualties have been reported.

 

Yesterday, reliable sources informed the Syrian Observatory that factions operating under the banner of “Al-Fateh Al-Mubin” operations room shot down a reconnaissance drone, believed to be Russian, while flying over Hirsh Bayanin in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib.

 

SOHR activists also monitored another reconnaissance drone crash in Al-Haddadah area in Jabal Al-Akrad, north of Latakia, due to technical malfunctions.
