Security campaigns in Aleppo | Turkish-backed “General Intelligence branch” arrests several ISIS cells in Ihtemaylat

Syrian Observatory sources reported that the “General Intelligence branch” launched a security campaign, backed by the Turkish forces, against ISIS cells in Ihtemaylat town in areas under the control of “Euphrates Shield” factions in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

 

The “General Intelligence branch” has arrested a cell of several ISIS members in Ihtemaylat town, while the campaign is still underway in search for more suspicious individuals. Meanwhile, the “General Intelligence branch” and Turkish forces are on high alert in the region.

 

Yesterday, reliable SOHR sources said that the “General Intelligence branch” launched a security campaign, backed by the Turkish forces, against ISIS cells in Mare’ city controlled by Turkish forces and their proxies in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

 

According to SOHR sources, the campaign started in the previous day, in which the “General Intelligence branch” arrested several ISIS cells with IEDs and light weapons in their possession. The campaign continued in search for more suspicious individuals.
