IS shots down a warplane in al-Suwaydaa countryside

IS militants were able to shot down a warplane after targeting it east of Khalkhala military airport in the northern eastern countryside of al-Suwaydaa, the fate of its crew is still unknown, The airport witnessed massive attack by IS in the 10th of April/2015 led to the death of 21 soldiers in regime forces including at least 13 of the Palestinian liberation army, in addition to the death of 16 militants in IS.

It is worth to mention that a warplane fell on Kweres military airport which is under siege by IS in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, and led to the death of one of its pilots, while the other one was able to land on the airport with his parachute.
