North of Idlib | Young man killed in clashes near the border with Iskenderun region

Idlib province- Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources say that a young man was killed in clashes in the town of Deir Hassan, north of Idlib, after a fight with a group of youths inside the amusement park in the town.

In the meantime, security forces cordoned off the area and deployed in search of the killers.

On August 14, SOHR activists said that unidentified gunmen in a car killed a taxi driver on the road between the villages of Qimas and Al-Kastan, east of Jisr al-Shughour.

A horrific murder took place this morning in the town of Salqin, north-west of Idlib, in which three people, including a woman, were killed.

According to local sources, a family member killed the three people following family problems.

The number of people who have been killed in the countryside of Idlib, Aleppo, Hama and Latakia since the 26th of April 2018, as the security chaos escalated in the province, rose to 662. The fatalities are broken down as follows:

  • A fighter in Turkistan Islamic Party.
  • The wife of an Uzbek commander and another child was with her.
  • The attorney-general of the Ministry of Justice of the “Salvation Government”.
  • 192 civilians, including 23 children and 19 women.
  • 387 fighters of Syrian nationalities belong to Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, al-Sham Corps, the Islamic Movement of Ahrar al-Sham, Jaysh al-Izza, and other factions operating in Idlib.
  • 70 fighters of Somali, Uzbek, Asian, Gulf, Jordanian, Turkish and Caucasian nationalities.

Meanwhile, the assassination attempts have injured tens of people with varying degrees of severity.
