“De-escalation zone” | Regime forces shell Aleppo and Hama countryside, as reconnaissance drones fly over the area

SOHR activists say that the frontlines of Kafr Amma and Kafr Ta’al, west of Aleppo province, have been under sporadic bombardment for hours by regime forces stationed in rural Aleppo.

Meanwhile, regime camps shelled the village of Al-Ankawi in Sahl Al-Ghab in north-west Hama province, coinciding with a massive flight of reconnaissance drones over the area.

SOHR sources said earlier that Turkish forces targeted regime forces’ positions in the town of Khan al-Subul in Idlib countryside, while factions have targeted with heavy artillery and rockets fire the gatherings of regime forces and loyalists in Hantotin and al-Dana, north of Ma’rat al-Numan in the southern Idlib countryside. No casualties have been reported so far.

SOHR activists have monitored Turkish forces running routine patrols on the frontlines with regime forces in Jabal Al-Zawiyah and other areas in the southern countryside of Idlib. These patrols coincide with the ongoing violations to the agreement between Russia and Turkey concerning ceasefire in the “de-escalation zone”.

SOHR sources have just reported that regime forces fired several surface-to-surface missiles nearby the villages of Al-Sheikh Bahr and Harbanoush, along with the flight of Russian reconnaissance drones over the northern countryside of Idlib. Meanwhile, several areas in Jabal Al-Zawiyah also came under intensive rocket fire by regime forces.
