Deteriorating security | IED explodes at market in northern Aleppo
Aleppo Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR activists have reported hearing an explosion in Al-Ghandourah town, which is under the control of Turkish forces and their proxies, in “Euphrates Shield” areas in the north-eastern countryside of Aleppo. The explosion was caused by the detonation of an IED at livestock market in the area, which caused material damage only.
On August 15, SOHR activists reported hearing a violent explosion in the Turkish-controlled city of Al-Bab in “Euphrates Shield” areas in the north-eastern countryside of Aleppo. According to SOHR sources, the explosion was caused by the detonation of an IED in a vehicle carrying a lieutenant of the Turkish-backed “Free Police” near Al-Ihsan mosque, which caused his death immediately, while another person was escorting him was injured.
