After his arrest by agents of Military Intelligence branch | Body of young man found in his home in Daraa countryside

Daraa governorate – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR activists say that residents of Um Walad town in Daraa countryside found the body of a young man dead in his home this morning.

According to civil sources, the young man was strangled, hours after his arrest by settled-status agents who joined the Military Intelligence branch in Daraa.

SOHR activists have documented the death of an ex-fighter who had joined the military intelligence branch after reconciliations with regime security services, in clashes with former opposition fighters in Um Walad town in the eastern countryside of Daraa. The clashes are still underway between both sides.

SOHR activists monitored earlier this afternoon growing tension in Um Walad town in the eastern countryside of Daraa, between a group of former opposition fighters who had settled their security situations with the regime and joined later to the military intelligence service on one hand, and another group of ex-fighters who gave up fighting after reconciliations with the regime’s security services on the other.
