Turkey’s military build-up | 5,870 vehicles arrive in Syria since the ceasefire, as 20 new vehicles enter “de-escalation zone”

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored the entry of five new military columns of Turkish forces via Kafr Losin crossing, north of Idlib.

The columns consist of 20 armoured vehicles, including personnel carriers. The trucks carry logistical and military equipment and headed towards Turkish military bases in the area of “Putin-Erdogan”.

The number of military vehicles entered Syrian territory since the start of the new ceasefire has reached 5,870 in addition to thousands of Turkish soldiers.

From February 2 to date, the number of Trucks and military vehicles that arrived in “de-escalation zone” rose to more than 9,205 Turkish trucks and military vehicles arrived in Syrian territory, carrying tanks, personnel carriers, armored vehicles and mobile bulletproof guard booths and military radars. While over 12,500 Turkish soldiers deployed in Idlib and Aleppo during this period.
