Deir Ezzor protests | Displaced people demand International Coalition and SDF recover areas captured by regime and Iranian forces

SOHR activists have monitored a demonstration by people displaced from Al-Izbah town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. The demonstrators have called upon the International Coalition and Syria Democratic Forces to recover their areas in the eastern region of the Euphrates River, which are now under the control of regime forces and Iranian-backed militias.

The demonstrators also lifted placards with slogans on them read “Oh, International Coalition, there is no alternative to the liberation of our villages – Oh, SDF, stop stalling, we want our villages – Oh, regime forces and Iranian-backed militias, get out of our villages”.
