Security chaos in Deir ez-Zor countryside | Unknown assailants target SDF checkpoint near Al-Hawaij town

Deir ez-Zor province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources say that unidentified gunmen on motorcycles targeted this evening, with machine guns, a SDF checkpoint in al-Tahuna area near the town of Al-Hawaij in eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor. The gunmen fled directly. No casualties have been reported.

Yesterday, SOHR activists said that unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire today on a member of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) near the railway on the outskirts of al-Busayrah city in the eastern countryside of Deir al-Zour, injuring him in the hand.

Two masked men on a motorcycle had targeted a member of the Syrian Democratic Forces in the town of al-Busayrah city, east of Deir ez-Zor, killing him and injuring a civilian and a child who happened to be in the same location.
