After armed attack on security post | “Self-Defense Forces” clash with unidentified gunmen in eastern rural Deir ez-Zor

Deir ez-Zor province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored clashes with machine guns this evening, after unidentified gunmen attacked a security post of “Self-Defense Forces” in the village of Jadid Akidat in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor. No casualties have been reported.

SOHR sources say that unidentified gunmen on motorcycles targeted this evening, with machine guns, a SDF checkpoint in al-Tahuna area near the town of Al-Hawaij in eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor. The gunmen fled directly. No casualties have been reported.

Yesterday, SOHR activists said that unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire today on a member of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) near the railway on the outskirts of al-Busayrah city in the eastern countryside of Deir al-Zour, injuring him in the hand.
