Kidnappings in southern Syria | Unidentified gunmen kidnap young man in center of Tafas town

Daraa Governorate- Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR activists say that unidentified gunmen in a car kidnapped today a young man in the center of Tafas town in Daraa countryside and took him to an unknown destination.

On August 16, Observatory sources reported that unknown assailants had kidnapped a man from the Daraa countryside, on Al-Ghariya al-Sharqiya road in Daraa countryside.

A young man was kidnapped by unknown assailants in the western countryside of Daraa, while he was grazing cattle in Jilleen area in western Daraa countryside, and took him to an unknown destination.

SOHR sources had reported that an armed group kidnapped two members of the regime forces earlier this month, while they were going to their military barracks in the “15th Division” in the village of al-Majdal in the western countryside of al-Sweida, and their fate remained unknown since their disappearance.

On July 29, unidentified gunmen kidnapped a girl in the town of Al-Mazirip, in the western sector of Daraa governorate, after forcing her to get in their car at gunpoint and then took her to an unknown destination.
