In less than 24 hours | Two armed attacks target military post in eastern Deir ez-Zor countryside

Deir ez-Zor province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources say that unidentified gunmen targeted with machine guns a checkpoint of “Self-Defense Forces” in the town of Jadid Akidat in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor. No casualties have been reported so far.

It is worth nothing that this is the second attack on the same checkpoint in less than 24 hours.

Yesterday, SOHR activists said that unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire today on a member of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) near the railway on the outskirts of al-Busayrah city in the eastern countryside of Deir al-Zour, injuring him in the hand.
