“De-escalation zone” | Nearly 20 rebels and regime soldiers killed and wounded in regime attack in Jabal Al-Zawiyah

Syrian Observatory sources have reported clashes at dawn on Bayanin frontlines in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib, between opposition factions and HTS on one hand, and regime forces and loyalists on the other.

 

The clashes, accompanied by exchange of shelling, resulted in the killing of three regime soldiers, while eight others were injured. Moreover, two rebels were killed and six others were injured in the same clashes.

 

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that opposition factions shelled regime positions on Al-Ruwayha frontline in Jabal al-Zawiyah in southern Idlib, injuring several soldiers. Meanwhile, positions in Jabal al-Zawiyah villages came under regime artillery fire.
