The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored this morning rocket attacks by factions of Ankara-backed “National Army”, targeting areas held by SDF and regime forces near the town of Ain Issa in the northern countryside of Raqqa. No casualties have been reported.
On August 17, SOHR sources said that two SDF members were killed and others injured, after a SDF checkpoint was targeted by airstrikes by Turkish drone, near the village of Abu Surra in the countryside of Ain Issa.
In the meantime, Turkish drones targeted a military vehicle travelling in the same area, injuring occupants in the vehicle.
Two civilians were also wounded by artillery shelling targeting a house in the village of Abu Surra.
