Nearly 15 days after his arrest | HTS releases general religious leader of “Ansar al-Din Front”

Reliable sources have told SOHR that Hayaat Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS) released the Ansar al-Din’s general religious leader, affiliated previously with “Fa’ Ethbatu” operations room, after his arrest on August 17 from the northern idlib countryside.

HTS had arrested the journalist of US nationality, who works in Idlib countryside, because of his solidarity and talk about the torture inflicted on “Abu Hussam al-Britani” in HTS prisons, through a video interview with al-Britani’s wife.

On July 27, HTS released Abu Malik al-Tali, after a month of his arrest.

On June 22, the Syrian Observatory monitored HTS’ security forces besieging the home of prominent jihadist leader Abu Malik al-Tali in rural Idlib city, arresting him by order of the commander in chief of HTS.
