Security chaos in Turkish-backed areas | Locals find body of man killed in unknown circumstances, and former fighter kidnapped in Azaz city

Aleppo Province- Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources say that residents in the Turkish-held town of Azaz found today the body of a man shot dead, lying near the Al-Jundi mosque in the city in unknown circumstances.

On the other hand, unidentified gunmen in the city of Azaz kidnapped today a former member of the 23rd Division and took him to an unknown destination.

It is worth nothing that the 23rd Division was disbanded and its leader was arrested by al-Jabha al-Shamiya faction at the beginning of August.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle targeted a military vehicle of Turkish-backed factions this evening, in the area between the town of Jarabulus and the town of Al-Jamil in the northeastern Aleppo countryside. No casualties have been reported so far.

On August 21, SOHR sources reported that a humanitarian worker of the local council in al-Bab city, east of Aleppo, was injured by several gunshots near his home in an attempt to assassinate him by unknown gunmen.
