Aleppo | War-damaged building collapses, killing four people

Residents of Aleppo city, who returned to the city’s eastern part after regime forces captured the entire city, are still suffering from the repercussions of earlier military operations in Aleppo city. In this context, SOHR sources have reported that four civilians were killed after a war-damaged building collapsed in Al-Saleheen neighbourhood, while several other civilians sustained injuries.

On February 5, SOHR sources documented the death of two workers in addition to injuries to two others, after the collapse of a war-damaged residential building in Cinema Fouad Street in Deir Ezzor city center. The shaky building was being reconditioned when it completely collapsed.

In early December 2019, Observatory activists documented the death of 12 persons, including two children and four females, in al-Maadi neighborhood in Aleppo city, after the collapse of a building that has been already cracked due to previous military operations there.
