“General Intelligence” branch in Mare’ deports families of ISIS members to Idlib province

Very reliable SOHR sources have confirmed that the “General Intelligence” branch in Mare’ city in northern Aleppo has summoned residents and cronies close to ISIS commanders and members. These people are from Idlib, and they have been displaced to areas under the control of Turkish forces and their proxies in the northern countryside of Aleppo. The “General Intelligence” summoned these people to interrogate them and ask them to disclose information about their sons, relatives and anyone adopts the ISIS extremist ideology.

SOHR sources say “after HTS security committees in Idlib province communicated with the ‘General Intelligence’ branch in Mare’ with the purpose of mediate not to prosecute suspicious displaced individuals and others adopting ISIS ideology, the ‘General Intelligence’ branch decided to deport the wanted to Idlib and prevent them from staying in Mare’ city.”

It is worth noting that the father of “Abu Abdo Shadid”, an ISIS “Emir” (senior commander), is one of those individuals summoned to be interrogated. “Abu Abdo Shadid” had been killed earlier by Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham on the outskirts of Salqin city in northern Idlib, near the Syria-Turkey border.
