Car-bomb attack | Civilian killed in explosion targeting Turkish post west of Idlib, and Turkish army puts on high alert on Aleppo-Latakia road

SOHR activists say that a resident from the village of Tel Hamki in the western countryside of Idlib, was killed as a car-bomb exploded near the Turkish post in the village of Salet al-Zuhur this evening.

On the other hand, SOHR sources have monitored Turkish army deploying along the “M4” road from Eshtabraq post to the town of Nahlia in western countryside of Idlib.

While frequents flights by Turkish reconnaissance drones are still ongoing over western Idlib countryside and Sahl al-Ghab.

Reliable sources have just told SOHR that a number of guards of the Turkish post of “al-Sham Corps” were injured, following an armed attack on the Turkish post, after the car-bomb exploded near the village Salet al-Zuhur, south of Jisr al-Shughour.

On the other hand, a number of civilians were injured in indiscriminate gunfire by Turkish soldiers, while targeting armed men in the area. 

According to Syrian Observatory sources, a car-bomb exploded on the road near the village of Salet al-Zuhur near a Turkish military post, coinciding with the flight of reconnaissance drones over the area.

It is believed that a reconnaissance drone targeted the car before it reached the Turkish post.
