Tense calm prevails in “de-escalation zone” following regime rocket fire on Jabal Al-Zawiyah

SOHR activists have monitored cautious calm prevailing throughout the “de-escalation zone” for nearly six hours after the morning rocket attacks by regime forces on several positions in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib.

 

Observatory activists had monitored renewed rocket attacks by regime forces in the early hours of Saturday morning, on positions in Al-Fterah, Kansafrah, Sfuhen, Fulayfel, Al-Halloubah, Deir Sonbol, Al-Bara and Ihsim in the southern countryside of Idlib.

 

Meanwhile, opposition factions of “Al-Fateh Al-Mubin” operations room fired several rockets on regime positions in Maarrat Al-Nu’man, Kafr Nubl and Saraqeb in southern and eastern countryside of Idlib.

 

Yesterday, SOHR sources said that opposition factions attacked regime positions with heavy machine guns, on Al-Bahsa frontline in Sahl Al-Ghab in north-west Hama. On the other hand, regime forces shelled al-Bara town in Jabal al-Zawiya with artillery. No casualties were reported.
