Idlib | Russian jets pound Idlib countryside with air-to-air missiles, and reconnaissance drones fly over the area

SOHR activists have reported that Russian jets carried out airstrikes using air-to-air missiles, which exploded in north-western Idlib countryside. Shrapnel of missiles fell on a camp in Armanaz area, leaving injuries among the displaced people.

While several reconnaissance drones, some of them unknown, were seen flying over Idlib countryside.

SOHR sources have monitored frequent flight by Russian jets over the area of “Putin-Erdogan.”

SOHR activists say that rebels managed to snipe regime soldier today, on the frontline of Qabtan al-Jabal in western Aleppo countryside.

Meanwhile, frontlines of the “Putin-Erdogan area” are witnessing an exchange of sniping and fire with light and medium weapons, between regime forces and loyalists on the one hand, and rebels and jihadist factions on the other.

The Syrian Observatory has documented the killing of a fighter of the factions by a regime sniper on frontline of the town of Taqad in the western countryside of Aleppo province.

SOHR sources have reported that regime forces fired several rockets in the early hours of Sunday morning, targeting places in Al-Fterah, Kansafrah and Sfuhen in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in Idlib countryside. Meanwhile, Russian reconnaissance drones were seen flying over the “de-escalation zone”.
