Joint patrols | Russian and Turkish forces tour villages in rural Al-Hasakah

SOHR activist have monitored Russian and Turkish forces running a patrol this morning in Al-Hasakah countryside. Four Turkish vehicles and four Russian others set off from Sherik crossing in the western countryside of Al-Darbasiyyah and toured Dalik, Malak, Qunaytara, Qarmaniyah, Tal Kadish, Ghanamiyah, Karbatli, Tayri Jadidah, Bab Mahmoud, Khasiki, Sirany, then the patrol headed to Al-Kharzi, Al-Jawhariyyah and Al-Buhayrah in the western countryside of Amuda. Meanwhile, two Russian helicopters were seen flying over the area, escorted the patrol.

 

It is worth noting that the patrol was pelted with stones by children in Qarmaniyah village.

 

On August 17, SOHR activists monitored Russian and Turkish forces running a new joint patrol in Al-Hasakah countryside. Four Russian vehicles and four Turkish others set off from Sherik crossing on the Turkey border in the western countryside of Al-Darbasiyah. The patrol toured the villages of Dalik, Malak, Zahr Al-Arab and Al-Qarmaniyah, then it returned to Sherik. Accordingly, the patrol toured the road between Ras Al-Ain and Al-Darbasiyah. It is worth noting that the patrol was escorted by two Russian helicopters.
