Popular anger | Security services arrest woman and her child, igniting protests in Daraa’s Al-Sahwa

Daraa Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: reliable sources have informed SOHR that tension is rising in Al-Sahwa town in the eastern countryside of Daraa in the wake of the arrest of a woman and her child in Damascus. Several people in Al-Sahwa blocked the streets and set tires on fire, demanding the release of the woman and her child.

 

On August 21, SOHR activists said that unidentified gunmen in a car kidnapped a young man in Tafas city centre in north-west Daraa countryside and took him to an unknown destination.

 

While on August 16, Observatory sources reported that unknown assailants kidnapped a man from the Daraa countryside, on the road to Al-Ghariya al-Sharqiya in Daraa countryside.
