Instability in Deir Ezzor | Civil council’s head among many injured in armed attack on civilian bus

Reliable sources have informed the Syrian Observatory that that unknown gunmen opened fire on a bus carrying civilians and the head of “Al-Shaab Council” in Theban town, on the outskirts of Al-Busayrah city in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. The attack resulted in the injury of several civilians, including women and the council’s head.

Yesterday, SOHR activists said that a civilian was found dead in the desert of Al-Susah town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. According to SOHR sources, communication was lost with the victim nearly four months ago. Meanwhile, uncertainty surrounded the nature and circumstances of the murder.
