“Islamic State will remain” | ISIS members chant slogans while roaming streets of al-Busayrah city, east of Deir ez-Zor

Deir ez-Zor Province- Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources reported that four members of the Islamic State roamed the streets of al-Busayrah city in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zour on motorcycles, chanting pro-ISIS slogans “Islamic State will remain.”

They smashed “nargila” in the neighborhood of Juria, before fleeing to an unknown destination.

The areas of Deir ez-Zor countryside are witnessing a surge in ISIS cells’ activities, targeting the SDF and well-off civilians who refuse to pay them zakat, threatening to kill them if they refuse to pay the zakat.

In recent months, the Syrian Observatory monitored smashing nargila shops in several areas because they are contrary to Islamic law, according to their ideology.
