Turkish-backed areas | Unidentified gunmen assassinate policeman in Aleppo countryside

Aleppo Province- Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources say that unidentified gunmen assassinated today a policeman working in the centre of the city of Azaz, which is under the control of Turkish-backed factions in northern Aleppo countryside, on the road between the villages of Sheikh Rih and Al-Fayrouziya in Suran area.

On August 27, SOHR sources said that residents in the Turkish-held town of Azaz found the body of a man shot dead, lying near the Al-Jundi mosque in the city in unknown circumstances.

On August 26, SOHR sources reported that unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle targeted a military vehicle of Turkish-backed factions this evening, in the area between the town of Jarabulus and the town of Al-Jamil in the northeastern Aleppo countryside. No casualties have been reported so far.
