Turkish artillery | Army shells town in Ain al-Arab countryside (Kobani), east of Aleppo

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored artillery shelling by Turkish forces this evening, targeting the vicinity of the town of Al-Shouyokh in countryside of Ain al-Arab (Kobani). No casualties have been reported.

In mid-August, Turkish forces stationed at the Jarabulus base shelled the town of al-Shouyokh in rural Ain al-Arab (Kobani), which is under the control of SDF, east of Aleppo. No casualties were reported so far.

It is worth nothing that Turkish forces had targeted with five rocket-propelled grenades the town of Al-Shuyoukh on the eastern bank of the Euphrates River in countryside of the city of Ain al-Arab (Kobane).

On June 24, the Syrian Observatory documented the killing of five people, including three women, one of whom is the coordinator of the “Star Women’s Conference” of the “Self-Administration”, as a Turkish drone targeted a house housing a meeting of a women’s conference, in the village of Halnaj near the border with Turkey, in rural Kobane, east of Aleppo.
