“De-escalation zone” | Regime rocket fire pounds several positions in southern Idlib

Syrian Observatory sources have reported bombardment by regime forces in the early hours of Thursday morning, targeting positions in Al-Fterah, Al-Bara, Fulayfel, Jabal Al-Arba’in, the surrounding areas of Areha, Kansafra, and Sfuhen in the southern countryside of Idlib.

On the other hand, clashes, accompanied by exchange of shelling, erupted in the western countryside of Aleppo between regime forces and loyal militias on one hand, and Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham and opposition factions on the other. Reports suggested there were casualties on both sides.

Yesterday, Observatory activists monitored rocket attacks by regime forces on Kafr Oweid, Balyon, Sfuhen and Al-Fterah in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib. In the meantime, Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham fired several rockets on regime positions in Jabal Shashaboo.

On the other hand, regime forces also fired several rockets on Al-Sarraf and Kalaz frontlines in Jabal Al-Turkman in northern Latakia.
