Coronavirus | Total number of infected people rises to 93 in north-western Syria, as four new cases recorded in Idlib
Health authorities have recorded four new coronavirus cases in Idlib. While recovery cases in north-western Syria have risen to 64.
According to Observatory statistics, the number of confirmed cases, since July 9 to date, rose to 93, including two doctors were residing in Turkey.
Breakdown of the cases is as follows: 43 cases, including medical staff in HTS-held areas in Idlib, parts of Aleppo, Hama and Latakia, and 48 cases in the areas controlled by Turkish-backed factions, north of Aleppo.
On August 18, health authorities documented the death of an elderly woman infected with the coronavirus in al-Dana town in Idlib countryside.
