Ceasefire violations | Clashes renew between regime forces and opposition factions south of Idlib

Syrian Observatory sources have reported that clashes erupted at dawn on frontlines of Fulayfel village in the southern countryside of Idlib, between opposition factions and Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham on one hand, and regime forces and loyalists on the other. The clashes were accompanied by exchange of shelling. However, no casualties have been reported.

Meanwhile, regime forces attacked with heavy machineguns, positions in Al-Ankawi village in Sahl Al-Ghab in north-western Hama.

Yesterday, Observatory sources reported clashes with medium and heavy weapons between regime forces and loyalists and opposition factions, on the frontlines of Kafr Ta’al, west of Aleppo. These clashes coincided with similar clashes on frontlines of Saraqeb city in Idlib countryside.

In the meantime, Turkish forces shelled regime positions nearby Saraqeb. No casualties were reported.

SOHR activists said earlier that day that two regime soldiers were killed and others were injured, after a group of regime forces entered a minefield set up by opposition factions on frontline of Al-Bara village in south Idlib countryside.
