Rising tension in Tal Tamr | Armed fight erupts among Turkish-backed factions over revenue-sharing of stolen properties

Tension rises in the villages of Mash’afa, Al-Mahmoudiyyah, Aniq Al-Hawa, Qabour Qarajinah and Mannakh, which are under the control of Turkish-backed factions, in the wake of escalating disputes among these factions over the distribution of stolen properties. On many occasions, these disputes evolved into armed fights and exchange of fire with machine guns and rocket-propelled grenades.

In this context, new clashes, accompanied by exchange of shelling, erupted in the region between “Sultan Murad” faction and “Al-Hamzat Division”, during which more than three houses were burned down, after a dispute between the warring factions over the ownership of these houses. Meanwhile, reported suggested that there were casualties on both sides due to the shelling and clashes.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that Turkish-backed factions stationed in Mash’afaa village fired several rockets on Mannakh villages, which is under the control of the same factions, in Tal Tamr countryside. No casualties were reported.
