Regime repression | Security services in Damascus arrest woman for unknown reasons

Reliable sources have informed the Syrian Observatory that a checkpoint of the regime’s military security service in Al-Sumariyyah area in the capital, Damascus, arrested a civilian woman from Ma’damiyyah Al-Sham city in the western Rif Dimashq. The woman was arrested for unknown reasons, while she was going to visit her relatives in Damascus.

 

On August 23, reliable SOHR sources confirmed that the regime’s security services arrested a woman after storming her house in Al-Kurnish street in Douma city in Rif Dimashq. According to SOHR sources, the woman was taken to the “251st Branch” known as “Al-Khateeb” in the capital Damascus, while the reasons behind this arrest remained unknown.
