Al-Hasakeh countryside | Nearly 20 Turkish-backed fighters killed and wounded, as SDF members infiltrate into their positions

SOHR sources say that nearly 20 members of the Turkish-backed factions were killed and wounded last night, following an infiltration attempt by SDF members into their positions on the frontline of “Abush-Aniq al-Hawa” in the “Peace Spring” areas in countryside of Tel Tamer, north of Hasakeh.

SDF members also managed to blow up a military vehicle of Turkish-backed factions on the Mashifeh frontline.

Yesterday, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the killing of two SDF members as they tried to infiltrate into the positions of Turkish-backed factions in order to plant landmines on frontline of “Abush-Aniq al-Hawa” in the countryside of Tel Tamer, north of Hasakeh.

According to SOHR sources, the two fighters were killed, while they were pulling out after they had accomplished their task and planted the landmines. However, it is not known if they were killed in landmine explosions or shot dead by Turkish-backed militiamen. It is worth noting that the fighters’ bodies remained on the frontlines separating areas under the control of SDF and regime forces from areas controlled by Turkish-backed factions, until SDF managed to recover them a few hours later.
