Explosion hits Tahrir al-Sham HQ, mutual shelling in De-escalation zone

The Syrian Observatory reported today that a violent explosion struck the headquarters of the mercenaries of Tahrir al-Sham in the western countryside of Aleppo, while the southern countryside of Idlib witnessed an exchange of shelling between mercenaries and government forces.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said: “A violent explosion was heard, followed by several powerful explosions in the town of al-Abzmo in the western countryside of Aleppo this morning. It was found that it was caused by an explosion that occurred inside a military headquarters of the mercenaries of Tahrir al-Sham, which led to the collapse of the building due to the mines inside it.

The observatory indicated that it was not clear what caused the explosion so far, whether it was due to air strikes from the stored international coalition warplanes, or targeting by unknown persons, and according to the sources of the Syrian Observatory, the targeted headquarters was emptied several days ago from the mercenaries of Tahrir al-Sham.

In this context, government forces today bombed the areas of Qafqin, al-Halba, al-Bara, Sufuhn, Kafaraweid, Fleifel, and al-Fatira in Jabal al-Zawiya in the southern countryside of Idlib, in addition to targeting the city of Jericho.

At the same time, mercenaries targeted government forces’ sites in the city of Kafr Nabl, south of Idlib, without information about casualties.
