“De-escalation zone” | Regime forces continue shelling positions in Jabal Al-Zawiyah, while Russian reconnaissance drones fly over the area

Syrian Observatory activists have reported that regime forces renewed their bombardment on Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the early hours of Wednesday morning, targeting positions in Al-Fterah, Sfuhen, Kansafra, the outskirts of Al-Bara and the archaeological site of Srajala. However, no casualties have been reported. Meanwhile, Russian reconnaissance drones were seen flying over the southern and eastern countryside of Idlib.

Yesterday, SOHR sources said that regime forces continued their rocket and artillery fire on Jabal Al-Zawiyah, targeting positions in Fulayfel, Sfuhen and Al-Bara. Regime forces also bombarded rebel positions in Hursh Bayanin in southern Idlib. No casualties were reported.
