SDF repression | Two brothers arrested in rural Deir Ezzor for unknown reasons

Deir Ezzor Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: reliable sources have informed SOHR that Syria Democratic Forces arrested two brothers this morning in Al-Baghouz town in Deir Ezzor countryside, near the Syria-Iraq border. The reasons behind arresting these people have yet to be known.

 

It is worth noting that the two arrested people are the brothers of the head of “Al-Baghouz Civil Council” who has engaged in altercation with the security forces during the raid.

 

Yesterday, SOHR sources said that the SDF Public Security service arrested the head of the Civil Council of Deir Ezzor governorate for unknown reasons, after storming his house in Al-Sa’wa village.

 

Meanwhile, a resident from Jadid Ekidat village in eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor was injured, after being shot by SDF members during a raid on the village, in which the raiding forces arrested seven civilians.

 

Reliable SOHR sources had confirmed that Syria Democratic Forces arrested a young man from Jadid Ekaydat in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor for unknown reasons. Several people from the village later attacked SDF checkpoints where skirmishes took place, which pushed SDF to bring in military reinforcement to the village, arresting more seven young people.
