Idlib | Opposition factions repel infiltration attempt by regime soldiers, south of the city

SOHR sources have reported that rebels were able to repel an infiltration attempt by regime forces and loyalists on frontline of the village of Fleifel, south of Idlib, coinciding with an exchange of shelling. No casualties have been reported.

SOHR activists say that the operations room of “al-Fath al-Mubin” managed to destroy an excavator of regime sources while erecting soil barriers, after being targeted by a guided missile on the frontlines of Saraqeb, near the town of Afis.

Meanwhile, regime forces shelled with artillery the villages of Safohin, Al-Fatira and Fleifel in Idlib countryside this evening. No casualties have been reported.

The Syrian Observatory has monitored frequent flights by reconnaissance drones over the area of “Putin-Erdogan.”

A few hours ago, SOHR activists monitored five Russian jets flying over the “de-escalation zone”, executing several airstrikes on the western outskirts of Idlib city and the hills of Kabani in Jabal Al-Akrad in northern Latakia. On the other hand, SOHR activists have also monitored Russian reconnaissance drones flying over the “de-escalation zone”, along with renewed rocket attacks by regime forces on positions in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in southern Idlib.

Several explosions rocked positions in the regime-controlled village of Marnaz in the western countryside of Aleppo. The explosions coincided with the flight of armed drones over the area.

Meanwhile, similar explosions rocked the regime-controlled village of Al-Taliha in Idlib countryside, amid unconfirmed reports suggested that these explosions were caused by airstrikes by drones.
